Patricia Ellis

Patricia Wright Ellis, 85, of Maugansville, Maryland passed away on November 5, 2015 at Charlotte's Home in Maugansville.
Born outside Albany, New York on December 18, 1929, she was the daughter of a fire chief and a school teacher, Mr. Richard and Hazel (Patterson) Wright. She lived for many years in France, Pakistan, Taiwan, Bangla'desh and the Philippines where she became an Asian Art expert. She was very proud to be a docent at the Freer Art Gallery, a division of the Smithsonian.
She was a graduate of the Syracuse University.
She was very community minded being an active member of the democratic party and Kiwanis. She was an avid cat lover.
Patricia is survived by her three children, five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Her marriage to Edgar L. Owens ended in divorce. Patricia re-married James P. Ellis and retired in Leisure World in Silver Spring.
