Mrs. Patricia A. Beachley, 71 most recently of Tranquillity of Fredericktowne and a lifetime resident of Jefferson, Maryland passed away on Monday, February 21 st , 2011 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Emmett Beachley.
Born May 31, 1939 in Jefferson, MD she was the daughter of the late Richard Hawker, Sr. and Pauline Tribby Hawker.
She was a 1957 graduate of Frederick High School. Patricia worked for Sagners and then later retired from Fort Detrick where she worked in animal care.
She is survived by her son, Blane Lee Anders of Walkersville, MD, her brothers, Richard Hawker and wife Gloria of Jefferson, Joseph Hawker and wife Edith of Frederick and Kenneth Hawker and wife Connie of Jefferson, a sister, Mary Davis and husband Randy of Frederick, sister-in-law, Nancy Hawker and husband Wayne Haupt of Burittsville, MD and her first husband Wilson Anders, several nieces, nephews and her special friends, Ruby, Jude and Becky.
She will also be remembered by all of her friends and the staff at Tranquillity at Fredericktowne. The family would like to thank the staff for all of their kindness and compassion shown to Patricia over the last three years.
She is preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Hawker.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Ave., Brunswick on Thursday, February 24 th from 11:00-12:00PM. Funeral services will then start at 12:00 PM with Rev. Michael Renehan officiating.
Interment will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Jefferson.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL, 60601.
