Patricia Anders

Mrs. Patricia L. Bledsoe-Anders, 64, of Rocky Ridge, died on Saturday September 24, 2011 , at Dove Hospice House, Westminster .

Born on February 24, 1947 in Baltimore she was the daughter of the late Kenneth P. and Margaret Hartman Anders of Thurmont , MD.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Wade J. Anders from Berkley Springs , WV .

She was a 1965 graduate of Thurmont High School . She also attended the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore . She was employed by Moore Business Forms in Thurmont for over 25 years. She then attended Frederick Community College and studied early childhood education. She then worked for Kindercare Learning Centers , Banner School and Walkersville Elementary as a child care teacher/ provider. She had a life long interest in art, gardening and reading. She was a Catholic.

Surviving are, one sister, Lynn Stambaugh of Keymar and two brothers Mark Anders of Frederick and Kenneth Anders of Georgia . Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00pm on Wednesday September 28, at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick . Fr. Jim Reusing will officiate. Interment will be private.

She was a life long lover of animals; therefore it was her wishes that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Frederick County Humane Society, 217W. Patrick Street , Frederick , MD 21702 .
