Parker Weston Nichols, infant son of Gregory L. and Elizabeth (Souvigney) Nichols, became an angel of the Lord on Saturday, September 22, 2007 after a courageous battle with life.
Born on July 12, 2007 at the Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, Parker became a joy an inspiration to all that came to know him.
Besides his loving parents, he will be missed by his big brother, Murphy; his maternal grandparents, Mary and Brian Enright of Harrison Township, MI; Ross and Leslea Souvigney of Antioch, TN; his paternal grandparents, William and Nancy Nichols of Jefferson, MD; paternal great grandmother, Pauline Lapole of Jefferson; maternal great grandfather, Louis Souvigney of Macomb, MI; and an aunt, Diane Nichols of Jefferson, MD; uncle, Richard Putz and cousin, Alexia of Jackson, TN, and aunt and uncle Lauren Kate and Alex Ross Souvigney.
Visitation: The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 27 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Friday, September 28 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Avenue, Brunswick, MD.
Services: Funeral services celebrating Parker's life will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Jefferson United Church of Christ, 3837 Jefferson Pike, Jefferson, MD with Rev. Tim May, Rev. Guy A. Wenck, and Chaplain William Coates officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson Reformed Cemetery where serving as pallbearers will be: Phillip Perry, Ken Salfelder, Wells Wilson, Mike Leischner, and Sam Harrison.
