Pamela Ann (“Pam”) Rawlett, age 67, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, in Frederick, Maryland.  Pam lived with her beloved husband of 46 years, Gary Rawlett, in the Frederick area.

Pam was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Adelphi, MD where she lived with her parents, sister, brothers, and grandmother.  She attended High Point High School and the University of Maryland. Pam married Gary in 1973 and theirs has been a love that stood the test of time, setting a wonderful example of commitment and loyalty for all of their loved ones. Pam’s compassion for others lead her to a career in rehabilitative therapy with patients at Great Oaks and Springfield Hospitals, where she worked for over thirty years.  Since her retirement in May of 2015, Pam has enjoyed traveling with Gary, spending time with friends, and being a loving mother and grandmother.

Pam was preceded in death by her grandmother, Arlene Mountjoy, her parents, Jack and Loretta Rinker of Mt. Jackson, Virginia, and sister, Deborah Mencl of Fredericksburg, Virginia.  Pam will be dearly missed by family, including her husband, Gary, her two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Mandy Rawlett, and Bryan and Heather Rawlett. Pam’s grandchildren, Taylor, MJ, Camryn, Jack, Henry, and Isla, whom she counted as her greatest blessings, will cherish their memories of her forever.  She is also survived by her brothers, Wade and Jaye Rinker, sisters-in-law, Diane and Brenda, brother-in-law, Richard Mencl, nieces, Samantha and Stephanie Mencl and nephews, Zachary and Travis Rinker. Pam’s generosity and kindness have touched the lives of so many and will live on through her family.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28th at 2:00 pm at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd.  Mt. Airy, MD 21771.
