Mrs. Pamela Ann Cochran, 40, of Mt Airy, died on Saturday, August 4, 2007, at her residence. She was the wife of Gilbert J. Cochran, Jr, her husband of 18 years.
Born on November 3, 1966 in Takoma Park, she was the daughter of Thomas Bird and Shirley Lee Bryan Burton of Laurel. She was a Space Management Specialist for the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture. Pam was a member of Providence United Methodist Church, Kemptown. She enjoyed music and working on projects at her church, but most of all loved spending time with her family, especially at the beach.
Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are 2 children: Ryan Cochran and Morgan Cochran both of Mt. Airy; a brother, Thomas Bird Burton, Jr. of Laurel; 2 sister-in-laws: Kristie Cochran and Brenda Faatz both of Mt. Airy; her in-laws, Gilbert and Gloria Jean Cochran, Sr. of Mt. Airy; and 5 nephews: Bryan Burton, Chris Burton, Erik Faatz, Shaun Faatz and Kyle Cochran.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 1-5 and 7-9 PM on Tuesday, August 7, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd. in Mt. Airy.
Services:
Services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 8, with her pastor, Rev. Donna L. Herritt officiating
Interment will be private.
