Pamela Hearn passed away peacefully on May 28th 2015 at the age of 61 surrounded by her loving family after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Pam was a fighter who never let the cancer stop her from leading a meaningful and inspirational life. Originally diagnosed in 2003 with stage three breast cancer, Pam fought the cancer and was deemed cancer free in 2004. In 2014, Pam was surprised when a random screen for another issue discovered the cancer had returned in multiple areas of her body. Pam is best remembered by her friendly smile and willingness to help and talk to anyone she came in contact with.

Pam was the oldest of three children, and was able to travel the world in her youth visiting and collecting memories from such places as Greece and Germany.  As a teenager and adult she always loved animals and had a special place in her heart for cats.  She was a proud mother of four boys, Jason, Jonathan, Matthew, and Michael. Pam developed artistic skills baking and decorating extraordinary creations for her friends and family. Pam always went the extra step to personalize her creations so the recipient felt special

Pam loved spending time with her four boys and spoiling her seven grandchildren. Anytime anyone met with Pam she was happy to talk about her boys and grandchildren and had plenty of pictures to show of them and stories to tell.

Friends and family came together to remember and celebrate Pam’s life on June 3rd 2015 at Stauffer Funeral Home in Frederick, Maryland.  Everyone shared stories of Pam that brought happiness to their lives. All of us who knew Pam will carry fond memories of her for the rest of our lives. Her life was cut short by cancer, but she lived each day to the fullest with incredible dignity and poise. She was a strong women, mother, sister, and friend that will be greatly missed by all.
