Pamela Gearhart

Pamela Osburn Gearheart, 73, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Maryland.  She was the beloved wife of Robert Gearhart for 40 years.

Born on September 4, 1948, in Louisville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Harold Lee and Lillian Ernestine Osburn.

Pam graduated from Wayne High School in Wayne, WV.  Graduated from Marshall University and worked as an Extension Agent in WV following many years as a member of 4H, serving in leadership and youth counselor.  She started her teaching career in Howard County, MD at Mount Hebron High School.  Pam earned her Master Degree from the University of MD.  She worked as a kitchen and bath designer in Rockville, MD and at Paramount Interiors in Hagerstown.  From here she started teaching at Frederick High where she worked for many years until retirement.  Her life revolved around her family and the beach, especially Chincoteague Island, VA.

In addition to her husband, she is survived her son Eric and daughter-in-law Kelly and her daughter Kirstin Gearhart; brother Randy Osburn and sister Tamara Dunkle who live in the Huntington, WV area.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Bryan Osburn.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland where a celebration of Pamela's life journey will take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home. Pastor Randy Osburn will officiate.

Interment will be private.
