Pamela Sue Barnes

Pamela Sue Barnes , 65, of Hagerstown, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Complete Care At Hagerstown. Born on April 3, 1959, in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Top Ellis Barnes and Janet Rae (Kirchner) Barnes.

Pam worked at the former Jeanne Bussard Workshop, and was a participant in the Special Olympics of Frederick County as a swimmer, where she received medals. She was a member of Bush Creek Church of the Brethren.

She is survived by her mother, Janet Barnes. Special thanks to Ted and Mary Ann Nee and Debbie and Mike Eagleston and cousin Jenny Beal and aunt Marlene Kirchner. The family would also like to give special acknowledgement to Jim and Rae Sauger.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 14 from 1 to 2 PM at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
