Ortence Mills

Ortence Ellsworth Mills, 82, of Inwood, WV passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Berkeley Medical Center. He was the beloved husband to the late Jeanette Ann Mills whom preceded him in death in October of 2018.
Born on May 4, 1936 in Brownsville, Maryland he was the son of the late James Howard and Altie Ellsworth (Downs) Mills.
Ortence worked for the Local 26 IBEW as an electrician until he retired. He enjoyed farming and working outdoors. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his children Betty Higgs, Ronald Mills and wife Wanda; grandchildren James Travis and wife Jennifer, Stephanie Mills and husband Shawn Edelen, Penny Taylor and husband Jeff, Samantha Mills and Ronald Mills, Jr.; seven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 12-1PM where a funeral service will begin at 1PM.
Interment will follow at Brownsville Heights.
