Olridge Butt

Mr. Olridge “Archie” Leroy Butt, 77, passed away, Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital with his family at his side.
Born February 24, 1935 in Gaithersburg, MD, he was the son of the late Raymond and Ethel Butt.
Archie was a farmer and a volunteer at Woodsboro Fire Co. for many years. He was an avid bingo player and loved going to carnivals, watching Westerns on TV and riding his scooter.
He is survived by his sister Calista Umberger of Urbana, MD and his brother Bradley Butt and wife Connie of Hanover, PA and sister-in-law Shirley Butt of Frederick, MD. Many nieces and nephews and other relatives also survive. He will be remembered by his special friends Aubrey and Cathy Horner of Woodsboro. He was preceded in death by his brothers Raymond and Donald Butt and sister Betty Sadtler.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, on Thursday, September 13, from 7 -9 pm, and Friday, September 14, from 10am until service time at 11:00am with Pastor Mike Yoho officiating.
