Mrs. Olivia J. Pinto of Frederick, MD passed away on Friday, January 13, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family and friends at the age of 56. She was the loving wife of Raul G. Pinto for 30 years.
Born on May 4, 1955 in Scarsdale, NY, she was the daughter of Raymond Dell'Angelo and the late Nancy Dell’Angelo and sister of Raymond Dell’Angelo.
In addition to her devoted husband Raul, Olivia is survived by her best friend and daughter Michelle Pinto-Root, Step-Children Claudia Pinto-Torres and Alejandro Pinto, and grandchildren Carter Root, Matilde and Amelia Pinto-Torres, and Max and Florencia Pinto.
Olivia retired in 2011 as a NICU Nurse from Shady Grove Hospital in Rockville, MD after over 20 years of service. She loved spending time with her family and friends, traveling to the beaches in Long Island and the Outerbanks, and visiting her extended family through marriage in Santiago, Chile. She enjoyed cooking and decorating and will always be remembered for her selflessness and friendship to all.
A memorial service will be held, in celebration of her life, at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702 on Saturday, January 21 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
