Norma Jean King

Mrs. Norma Jean King, 72 of Walkersville, MD passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at her home. She was the wife of Ray King.

Born April 10, 1937 in Waynesboro, PA she was the daughter of the late Donald and Evelyn Royer. In addition to her loving husband Ray she is survived by a son, Thomas King and wife Debbie of Walkersville, a daughter, Jill Creager and husband David of Frederick, two brothers, Donald Royer Jr , and Paul Royer, three grandchildren: Keith Creager, a grandson on the way Bryan Creager, Jeffrey Key, Amanda Key, and a great grandson Gavin Key. She will also be remembered by her numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Royer.

Norma enjoyed working in her flower gardens and watching the birds, squirrels, and chipmunks while sitting on the deck with her husband. She also enjoyed spending time with Keith and Gavin as they were very special to her. Norma retired from the Ye Olde Spirits Shoppe Deli where she worked for over 20 years.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 40 Fulton Ave., Walkersville, MD on Thursday, April 1st from 7:00-9:00 PM.

Services: Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 2nd at 11:00 AM with Rev. Tim May officiating.
Interment will be in Glade Cemetery.
