Noah R. Reynolds, Sr.
November 27, 1918 — January 25, 2010
Mr. Noah R. Reynolds Sr, 91 of Blue Ridge Summit, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2010 at the Gettysburg Hospital. He was the husband of the late Mabel Reynolds.
Born November 27, 1918 he was the son of the late Sebe and Gracie Reynolds.
Noah was a 20 year veteran of the United States Air Force.
He worked in security for the US Government.
He enjoyed gardening, antiques and horse racing.
He is survived by his two sons, Rev. M. David Reynolds and wife Hope and Noah R. Reynolds, Jr. and wife Ann, a daughter, Betty J. Moracco and husband Tony, two brothers, R.J. Reynolds and Arnold Reynolds, two sisters, Billie Hoffman and Eunice Gray,Grandchildren: Tina D'Eredita, Tami McCullor, Traci Covey, Joel Moracco, Toni Vagg, Teresa Mullins, Noah Reynolds III, Jeremiah, Aaron, Benjamin, and Ethan Reynolds, 21 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerome, Leonard, Clisbie and Junior and his sisters, Alpha, Marie, Omega and Alma.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 East Main Street, Thurmont on Tuesday, January 26th from 2-4 and 7-9PM.
Services:
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 27th at 6:00PM with his son, the Rev. Chaplain Lt Col M David Reynolds officiating.
Interment will be in Arlington Cemetery with full military honors at a later date.
