Noah Mullendore

N. Leo Mullendore, 79, of  Boonsboro, Maryland, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, August 17, 2010.
Born on March 7, 1931, in Trego, Maryland, he was the son of the late Noah O. and Helen (Smith) Mullendore Perkins.
Leo was a 1949 graduate of Boonsboro High School and was a resident of Boonsboro for 56 years.
He was a member of the Brownsville Church of the Brethren.
Mr. Mullendore retired after 26 years of employment with Potomac Dye and Finishing Company in Hagerstown.  He later was employed with Bast Furniture in Boonsboro and Litton Amoco on the Dual Highway.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth N. (Cunningham) Mullendore; one daughter, Deborah and her husband Dale Lee of Boonsboro, Maryland; and two sons, Jeffrey Mullendore and his wife Carol of Rockford, Alabama and Douglas Mullendore and his wife Lisa of Williamsport, Maryland.  He is also survived by four grandchildren, Scott and Christopher Mullendore, Johanna Macomber, and Jeffrey Lee; and one great-grandson,  Joey Macomber.
Mr. Mullendore was preceded in death by one stepbrother and three stepsisters.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. Rev. Robert G. Brennan, Jr.  will officiate. Burial will follow at Boonsboro Cemetery.
Friends may visit beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, August 20, 2010 at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church Building Fund, 134 South Main Street, Boonsboro, Maryland 21713.
