Nile Snead

Mrs. Nile Hagood Snead, 99, of Frederick, MD passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Wilbur Snead.
Born February 26, 1916 in Chatam,VA she was the daughter of the late John T. and Myrtle Knighten Hagood.
Nile was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church, Frederick and she also voluteered for the Citizens Nursing Home Auxiliary.
She is survived by her two sons Michael C. Snead and wife Ann of Baltimore, MD and Patrick K. Snead and wife Barbara of Boston, MA ; grandchildren David Snead and wife Rachel Sennett of New York City, Ellen Snead, Katherine Snead, Andrew Snead and Rachel Snead all of Boston, MA; nephew Keith Dodson and niece Julia Richardson both of Roanoke, VA. She will also be remembered by Mary Banach.
She is preceded in death by her sister Helen Moorefield.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 2PM at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
