Nichole Glenn
1971-2014

Nichole Glenn, 42, of Kensington, MD, passed away surrounded by family on Monday, March 24, 2014. Born on December 31, 1971, she was the daughter of Daniel Glenn and Susan Bedell McCauley and Dennis McCauley. She graduated from Thomas Johnson High School in Frederick. Nichole loved her work as a Senior Organizational Development Specialist at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Those who knew her marveled at her sharp wit, incredible grace, dazzling warmth and undeniable charm. Passionate about learning, travel and most always the best dressed in any room she entered, Nichole also enjoyed quiet time with her beloved furry friend, Captain Laptime. She had many close friends and was proud to be considered a part of their families. In Ric Bardwell, she found a partner who stole her heart, challenged her and encouraged the glow within her to shine even brighter. She is also survived by her sister Dominica D'Avella and husband Michael, sister Amanda Glenn, sister Cara Roberts and husband Jason, and niece Gianna Fosty. She was predeceased by her grandparents Roy and Lillian Martin of Thurmont and John and Wilma Glenn of Fordland, MO. Nichole will be sorely missed on earth, but her spirit will live on as those who knew and loved her carry on her kindness to others. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in care of her sister, Dominica D'Avella, to start a fund for the work Nichole had planned to do assisting some of the unmet needs of cancer patients and their families.
