Nelson Rohrer

Mr. Nelson Harvey Rohrer, 92, of Sharpsurg, MD, formerly of Boonsboro passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Sterling Care South Mountain.
Born October 6, 1925 in Zittlestown, MD he was the son of the late Joseph W. and Rhoda Anna (Smith) Rohrer.
Nelson played electric and acoustic guitar all over the area in numerous country bands for the majority of his life. He worked on paving crews all his life upon retirement. Nelson also loved to garden and decorating for Christmas.
He is survived by niece Deborah Palmer of Boonsboro an numerous cousins.
He is preceded in death by his sister Patsy L. Stanley of Boonsboro.
There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 11AM at the Boonsboro Cemetery. Rev. Tim May will officiate.
