Nellie M. Burrier

Mrs. Nellie M. Burrier, 89 of Frederick MD, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Harold W. Burrier, Sr her husband of 56 years.

Born May 14, 1919 in Frederick County, MD., she was the daughter of the late Paul and Grace Haugh Angleberger.

Mrs. Burrier was a member of Union Chapel Lutheran Church and was very active in church work. She was also a member of Johnsville Senior Citizens, Libertytown Senior Citizens, Outreach Fellowship, and the Libertytown Red Hat Society. She loved to play bingo, cooking and going on Senior bus Trips.

She is survived by her children Harold W. Burrier, Jr and wife Judith of Mt. Pleasant, Patricia A. Clem and husband William E. of Frederick, Barbara J. Burrier of Jefferson, Larry P. Burrier and wife Judith of Yellow Springs, Sandra L. Staley and husband Larry E. of Frederick and Shirley M. Shank of Yellow Springs. There are ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild., two brothers Paul Monroe Angleberger and wife Elizabeth of Jefferson and Wayne W. Angleberger, Frederick. She is also survived by one aunt and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son Ronald Lamar Burrier.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 40 Fulton Avenue, Walkersville on Friday, July 4, 2008 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m..

Services: Services will be held Saturday, July 5, at 11:00 a.m. from Union Chapel, 11109 Daysville Road, near Libertytown, MD with Pastor Dorothy Lundgren officiating.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
