Nellie Louise {Sis} Fauver

April 12, 1937 — February 17, 2009

Mrs. Nellie Louise (Sis) Fauver, 72, of Frederick, died on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late William W.Bill Fauver who died in 2008.

Born on April 12, 1937, in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late George and Nellie Sullivan Lydard.

Nellie was a member of the custodial staff at TJ High School. retiring in 2006 after 25 years service.

She enjoyed to shop, but most of all, lovingly known as Memaw, Grandma and Mama, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are 3 children: Cynthia Esworthy of Frederick and Debbie McFarland of West Virginia and William Gravelly of Baltimore; 7 grandchildren: Ronald Cole, Jr who is currently serving in the US Air Force and his wife Jeanette of Italy, Carrie Gravelly and companion Steven Hurst, Jr of Frederick, Michael Cole who is currently serving in the US Marine Corps and his wife Kayla of Florida, Amy Cole, Heather Esworthy, Anna Gravelly and Nydoria Harrison; 2 great grandchildren: Olivia and Jaden; a brother, Jack Lydard and wife Kitty of Jefferson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She will also be remembered by her special friend, Nancy Royal of Frederick.

Mrs. Fauver was preceded in death by brothers: Jim, Arnold and Bobby Lydard and a sister-in-law, Carole Lydard.

Family and friends are welcome to a time of food and fellowship following services at the Independent Hose Company, Baughman's Lane, Frederick, MD.

Services: A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 21, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick with Rev Tim May officiating.
Interment will be private.
