Nathaniel Williams

Nathaniel Charles “Nat” Williams, 82, of Frederick, passed away on May 19, 2018 at Kline Hospice House. He was the husband of 30 years to the late Judy Williams.
Born on May 8, 1936 in Frederick, he was the son of the late Nathaniel Merit and Virginia (Shepley) Williams.
Nat retired from Potomac Edison where he worked for many years, working in various departments but primarily worked as a meter reader. He was a lifelong member of the Frederick Church of the Brethren. He enjoyed working in his garden.
He is survived by his children, Melanie Cox and Gregory Williams and wife Kimberly; grandchildren, Amanda, Krystel, Natalie, Kristen, Kay; two great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Makyla; his brothers, Larry and Jerry Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, he was proceeded in death by his son, Nathaniel Gilbert Williams and his sister, Judy Drum.
The family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702. The funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, May 25 at the funeral home. Reverend Tim Shatzer will officiate. Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
