Nancy Tolson

Tolson, Miss Nancy Virginia, 63, passed away on January 30, 2016 at Kline Hospice House in Mt. Airy, Maryland.
A long-time resident of Frederick, she was predeceased by her parents, Donald Watson and Virginia Stoddard Tolson and her grandparents, Paul E. and Naomi W. Tolson and Clark W. and Juliet F. Stoddard. She is survived by her sister, Patricia A. Tolson-González (Eddie), niece, Thalia N. C. Saarman González (Giovanni), nephew, Zachary P. R. González , her dear life-long friend, Barbara Cardillechio, eight cousins and her "best buddy", dog Charlie.
She was employed for many years by Giant Food and the Frederick YMCA. She was a member off the Frederick First Church of the Nazarene and was blessed to have many special friends in her church family. Nancy enjoyed reading, making latch hook rugs and collecting funky, colorful bracelets.
A Celebration of Nancy's Life will be held at the Frederick First Church of the Nazarene, 7899 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in Nancy's memory to the Frederick Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department, the Frederick Youth for Christ, or a local non-profit of your choice.
Private inurnment in Mount Olivet Cemetery will follow the service.
