Nancy Sledge
October 23, 1934 — July 9, 2017
Mrs. Nancy Lee Sledge, 82, of Frederick, MD passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Brookdale Senior Living Solutions, Hagerstown. She was the beloved wife of the late Alexander Sledge.
Born October 23, 1934 in PA she was the daughter of the late William F. and Clara L. (Garlets) Taylor.
After she graduated from High School Nancy moved to Washington DC and was a secretary to J.Edgar Hoover.
Years later she worked at FASEB as an Exhibit director. She retired to Ocean City which was a life long dream.
She loved to travel and cook for friends and family. She loved cooking and serving meals at her church.
She is survived by her children William A.Sledge , Jeffrey A. Sledge, daughter in law Sharon Sledge and two grandchildren Rachel and Alex Sledge.
Services and interment will be private.
