Mrs. Nancy Ann Seals, 65 of Woodbine, Maryland passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Elmer Seals.
Born October 19, 1948 in Woodbine, Maryland she was the daughter of the late Irene and James Gue.
Nancy loved spending time with her family, especially her three grandchildren.
She enjoyed traveling to the mountains with her friends and her many trips to Chincoteague.
She is survived by her two children, Gene Seals of Woodbine, MD and Heather Owens and husband Chris of Woodbine, three grandchildren, Kayla Shorrow and husband Scott, Tyler Seals and Tessa Seals, two great grandchildren, Jonathan and Brayden Shorrow and her two sisters , Georgia Seals and June Kilby and husband Ernie.
She will also be remembered by numerous nieces and nephews and her special friends, Linda Wolfe, Carol and Dave Cornell, Kevin and Jodie Biden and Betty Welsh.
She is preceded in death by her brother in law Bob Seals.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgevillle Blvd., Mt. Airy on Thursday, January 16th from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 17th at 11:00AM with Rev. Tim May officiating.
Interment will be in Poplar Springs Cemetery, Mt. Airy.
