Nancy Ranneberger

Mrs. Nancy (Kelly) Ranneberger of Brunswick, MD passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at her home, on August 18, 2016.

Born March 6, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Rodney and Lucille (Stup) Kelly. She was raised in Buckeystown and graduated from Frederick High School.

Nancy was married to the late C. Philip Ranneberger for 65 years. For most of her life she was a homemaker. She was involved with the Brunswick Senior Center. Nancy enjoyed playing bingo, slots and especially crocheting. She is a member of Buckeystown United Methodist Church.

Nancy is survived by three sons, Phil (Linda) and Robert (Pat) all of Adamstown and David (Karen), Frederick; seven grandchildren, Ann Leckliter, Brad and Greg Ranneberger, Melissa Moser, Amy Howell, Amelia and Thomas Ranneberger; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and Nancy had five siblings, Rodney (Rudy) Kelly (Dotty). She is also leaving a very special friend, Gary Brown.

She was preceded in death by brothers and sister, James and Kenny Kelly, Lucille Kelly and Freda Haines.

Exception, appreciation and thanks goes out to all of Nancy’s caregivers, Peggy, Rochelle, Sherri, Carissa, Bridgitte and Missy, and Hospice of Frederick County, especially Stacy, Trish and Gail.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Avenue, Brunswick and one hour prior to services on Monday.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, August 22nd at the funeral home with Rev. Ronald Ellis officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Frederick.
