Nancy Nuckols

Nancy Forshey Nuckols of Frederick, MD died suddenly on December 30, 2016 surrounded by her family.
She was the wife of the late William (Fuzzy) Nuckols for over 20 years.
Born October 27, 1936 in Altoona, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Robert Lewis Forshey, Sr. and Margaret Elene Dymond.
Nancy loved to sew and enjoyed working at JoAnn Fabrics. She also worked as a bank teller for Sun Trust Bank for over 20 years.
Nancy's passion was for her family and looked forward to catching up on the latest gossip with each of them. She also found time to volunteer at Frederick Memorial Hospital and she never turned down a shopping trip with family and friends.
She is survived by her children Linda Hardesty of Florida, Alan K. Slifer and his wife Sarah of Virginia Beach, VA; Sue Barnhouse and her husband David of Point of Rocks, MD; Deborah Parsons of Frederick, MD; Bobby Slifer of Lovettsville, VA; Sister, Ann Frontain of Gettysburg, VA; Brother, Robert Forshey, Jr.of PA
Grandchildren, David, Emily, Keri, Nicole, and Jennifer; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Predeceased by son David Slifer and granddaughter Kelli Sue Barnhouse.
Services will be held at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 603 Main Street Myersville, MD 21773 on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Mike Beiber will officiate.
Interment Private.
In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made in her name to the Diabetes Foundation.
