Nancy Kemp

December 10, 1942 — November 4, 2013

Nancy C. Kemp 70, of Mount Airy, MD was called home to Christ on November 4, 2013.

She was the daughter of the late Robert "Cas" and Opal Collier, born on December 10, 1942 in Wise, Virginia.

Nancy taught for over 42 years for Montgomery County Public Schools and retired from Damascus High School in 2008, was a member of the Red Hat Club of DHS and The Lunch Bunch from CFC.

She was a beloved long-time member of the Cornerstone Fellowship Center.

She is survived by her son Channing Kemp and his wife Mary of Boonsboro, MD and her most precious grandchildren, Brendan and Delaney Kemp; brother Mac Collier and wife Shelby of Wise, VA.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and will be missed dearly by many friends. She was preceded in death by a sister Betty Newberry and brother Jack Collier.

Family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Homes P.A., 8 East Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy one hour prior to services on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 6-7pm where Funeral Services will begin at 7pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.  Pastor Paul Black will officiate.  Interment will be private.
