Nancy's spiritual life was of great importance to her, and she attended St. Francis and St. Mary's Roman Catholic Parish for over 60 years. Nancy loved to listen to Emory play music with his band, George Bryant and the Country Cousins. She met him at a dance, where he was playing and would often listen to the radio on Saturdays where he would play a live show. During the early years of their marriage, Emory and Nancy raised four children, Suzette, Michael, Katherine and David. They were very involved with their children, and as a family, they pursued many activities together and enjoyed each other.

After the kids were grown, Nancy enjoyed expanding her education by taking classes with her best friend, Edie McCall. She worked in the banking industry and after retiring, she worked at the medical center on 9th Street in Brunswick. After retirement, Nancy and Emory loved spending time together, often traveling and taking cruises, surviving hurricane Isabel at sea! Nancy loved spending time with her grandchildren, John and James.

Nancy is survived by her children, Suzette Richwagen, Michael (Penny) Bryant and David (Sheila) Bryant; her grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband of 61 years, Emory, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Katherine Bryant-Snyder and daughter-in-law Carolyn Bryant, along with siblings Lucille, Edward, Alma, Richard, Harold and Violet as well as her best friend, Edie.
