Nancy Hoffman

Nancy A. Hoffman, 78, of Frederick, Maryland, died Thursday, March 10, 2016 at her home after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by husband, Harold W. Hoffman, in 2006.
Born April 5, 1937 in Frederick County, she was the daughter of the late Lillian V. (Tressler) and Charles M. Storm.
She was a high school graduate in Mt. Airy, Maryland.
Nancy was very fond of perusing yard sales. She loved her home and enjoyed surrounding it with flowers, plants and trees. Visits with her neighbors were always a source of great pleasure.
She is survived by her children, Dessie A. Bowers and husband, Richard, of Walkersville, MD and David W. Hoffman of Hagerstown, MD; grandchildren, Phillip Grob and wife, Eileen, of McSherrystown, PA and Grant Hoffman of Hagerstown, MD; great-grandchildren, Gino and Enzo; brothers, Charles M. Storm, Jr. and Wayne A. Storm and sisters, Janice Ogletree and Mary Appleby; many nieces and nephews.
Nancy was also preceded in death by her sister, Florence Dixon and brother, Howard W. Storm.
Private services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
