Nadine Hebb

Nadine Irene Roelke Hebb, 96, of Jefferson, Maryland, passed suddenly from this life on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at her daughter and son-in-law's home where she has resided for the past 15 years.
Born on March 7, 1922, in Frederick, MD, she was the daughter of the late Earl Roelke and Gertrude Roelke Ponton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Hebb in 1995; also sister, Elizabeth Roelke; brother, Earl Roelke, Jr.; and son-in-law, Bill Johnson.
Nadine was a graduate of Frederick High School Class of 1939. She was a Charter Member of the Brunswick Eagles Auxiliary; she was a Life Member of the Frederick Women's Bowling Association and held many other positions within the bowling leagues over the many years that she bowled. Her other lifelong interests included crocheting, crafting, bingo and watching TV game shows.
She is survived by daughters, Drina Johnson of Arvada, Colorado, Kay Carter and husband, Bob, of Jefferson and Marsha Lantz and husband, Larry, of Hagerstown; six grandchildren, Ginger Shoffner of Aurora, Colorado, Penny Kuhn of Jefferson, Richard Carey of Keymar, Randy Carter of Frederick, Evan Johnson of Billings, Montana, Kelley Marcus of Cascade, Maryland; 11 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.
A celebration of Nadine's life journey will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 16th at the Stauffer Funeral Home with Rev. Tim May officiating. Burial will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Frederick.
