Mrs. Lois Coats

Mrs. Lois J. Coats, 80 of Woodsboro, Maryland passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at her home. She was the wife of the late Clarence Allen Coats, Sr.
Born August 2, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Helen Jackson.
She was a member of Flint Hill United Methodist Church in Adamstown. She loved gardening and her flowers. She enjoyed working puzzles, playing bingo and reading books.
She was the owner of EZ Power and Fountain Shell with her husband. In her earlier years she was a cosmetologist.
She is survived by her three sons, C. Allen Coats and wife Theresa, Neil B. Coats and wife Deborah and Harold K. Coats and wife Leslie, two daughters, Debra A. Beard and husband Richard and Diane E. Ketterman and husband David, grandchildren, Rick Jr., Todd, Patrick, Aubrey, Jerrid, April, Christina and Chelsey and Meagan, great grandchildren, Sahvanna, Riely and Seirra and one on the way, Jaxon. She will also be remembered by her numerous cousins spread around the US and Canada.
She is preceded in death by her two brothers, Milton and Leslie Jackson.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Wednesday, November 30th from 7:00-9:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 1st at 2:00PM.
Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
