Mrs. Leyen T. Phan

Mrs. Leyen T. Phan, 52 of Frederick, MD, passed away after a lengthy illness on Saturday, August 8, 2009. She was the wife of Dat T. Phan.

Born October 14, 1956 in Viet Nam, she was the daughter of Ireneus and Maria Hoang Theologidy of Rancho Marguerita, CA.

Mrs. Phan was a member of St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, especially working with Bridal and Prom Gowns and cooking Vietnamese traditional meals for family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by two children Mary Phan Ng and her new son-in-law David of Bethesda, MD and Joseph Phan of Frederick, her brothers and sisters Theresa Theologidy of CA, Luke Theologidy of Chicago, Lucille Theologidy, John Theologidy, Mark Theologidy, Jacob Theologidy and Jerome Theologidy all of CA. Many nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by a brother Philippe Theologidy and a sister Catherine Theologidy.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD, Friday, August 14, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9:00 p.m.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 15, at 11:00 a.m. from St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 112 E. Second Street, Frederick, Md. with the Rev. Keith Boisvert as celebrant.
Interment will be private
