Mrs. Montie L. Scott, 93, of Mt. Airy, died on Saturday May 23, 2009 at Frederick Memorial Hospital, Frederick. She was the wife of Arthur Scott to whom she was married for 72 years.
Born on August 27, 1915 in Chattanooga , Tennessee she was the daughter of the late James Newton Schotts and Isia Mae Galloway Kelly.
Surviving in addition to her husband are children Barbara Jean Scott, James Arthur Scott and wife Joan, Linda Ann Scott Schenke and husband William and Martin Lee Scott and wife Ann. Grandchildren,Joel M. Rosales, Jr., A. Scott Rosales, Duane P. Rosales, John A. Mathatas, James K. Mathatas, Lara I. Schenke, Leann C. Schenke, Lauren A. Scott and Jacob A. Scott. Great grandchildren Shane Rosales,
Amber J. Rosales, Arthur S. Rosales Jr., Zebby G. Rosales, Asa L. Rosales and Kalin R. Rosales.

Services: Memorial Services will be held on Saturday May 30, 2009 at the Calvary United Methodist Church, 403 South Main Street, Mt. Airy, Maryland 21771, at 11:00am. Interment will be at a later date in Chattanooga, Tenn.
