Molly Marshall

Molly Elizabeth (Ward) Marshall, age 86, a resident of Falling Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and of the Pentecostal faith, went home to be with her Lord Jesus on Tuesday, January 1, 2013.

Molly attended services in The Chapel at Falling Springs Center and was a long time resident of Mt. Briar and the Keedysville, Maryland area.

Born on February 1, 1926, in Big Pool, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Leo Henry and Amy Ann (Drury) Ward.  Her husband, Max T. Marshall, preceded her in death.

During her lifetime, she worked for the Hagerstown Rubber Company, Victor Hosiery of Hagerstown and the Hanover Shoe Company in Middletown, Maryland.

She is survived by three daughters, Linda Marshall of Chambersburg, Lana Pine and husband Terry of Fort Loudon, Pennsylvania, and Lena Lopez of San Antonio, Texas; one sister, Hazel Myers of State Line, Pennsylvania; five brothers, John Ward of Williamsport, Maryland, James Ward of Keedysville, Clyde Ward of Sharpsburg, Maryland, Alfred Ward of Smithsburg, Maryland and Harry Ward of Keedysville; five granddaughters; five great granddaughters; five great grandsons; and one great-great granddaughter.  She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by several sisters, one brother, and several aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2013 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro.  Final resting place ceremonies will be held at the convenience of the family.
