Mrs. Misty A. Myers, 45, of Knoxville, MD passed away Monday, February 17, 2014. She was the beloved wife of Donald Lee Myers.
Born on May 17, 1968 in Charles Town, WV she was the daughter of the late James T. and Janice M. Elliott.
Misty was an 86’ graduate of Brunswick High School and went on to get her GNA/CNA from Frederick Community College. She worked in many nursing homes and at Frederick Memorial Hospital before doing In-Home care. Misty loved to be in the sun; her favorite place was Florida and enjoyed the beach. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children Brittany Crocker and husband David Cole of Charles Town, WV, Josh Myers, Terri Myers, Cody Myers, Alexis Myers all of Knoxville, a grandchild Kynlee Crocker of Charles Town, WV, and a brother Mark Elliott of Harpers Ferry, WV. She is proceeded in death by both of her parents.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Ave., Brunswick, MD on Friday, February 21, 2014 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22 at 11AM.
Interment will follow at Brownsville Cemetery.
