Mrs. Mireille Kronfli Shuggi, 61, of Walkersville, MD passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 at Frederick Memorial Hospital of metastetic breast cancer. She was the beloved wife of Camil Shuggi.
Born September 6, 1953 in Khartoum, Sudan, she was the daughter of Gisele Salloum Kronfli of Walkersville and the late Phillip Kronfli.
Mireille enjoyed spending time with family and friends, sewing, cooking and traveling. She loved people and was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and aunt.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her three children Pamela Shuggi of Baltimore, Farris Shuggi of Baltimore and Isabelle Shuggi of Walkersville; brothers Rashad Kronfli and wife Rosie of Walkersville and Emad Kronfli and wife Karina of Walkersville; nieces and nephews Tarek, Yasmin, Faris, Anthony, Philip and Dahlia.
The family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 5-7PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 8651 Biggs Ford Rd., Walkersville on Friday, February 20 at 2PM. Monsignor Murphy will be the celebrant.
Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
