Minnie Earle Hargett

Mrs. Minnie Earle Hargett, 95, died Thursday, March 4, 2010, at the Vindobona Nursing Home in Braddock Heights, Maryland.

She was predeceased by her husband of almost 72 years, Arthur L. Hargett who passed away on January 13,2007.

Born in Frederick County on May 19, 1914, she was the daughter of the late John William Molesworth, Jr. and Edith Hastings Kidd
Molesworth Pearl.

Mrs. Hargett's employment history began at the Frederick County Board of Education. She was also employed at the Ralph M. Parsons Company, Fort Detrick, and the Atomic Energy Commission, from which she retired. After retiring, she was a very active member of the
Frederick Memorial Hospital Auxiliary for a number of years.

Mrs. Hargett is survived by two children, Sydney (Carty) Teegarden and husband Tom of Mt. Airy, Md. and Patrick Neal Hargett and wife Sandra of Middletown, Md.; four grandchildren, Eric Carty and wife Debbie of Taneytown, Md., Christopher Hargett of Frederick, Md., Jennifer Pitz and husband Dave, of Abingdon, Md., and Sarah Bae and husband Moo Sung of Columbia, Md.; five great-grandchildren, Shannon and Lauren Carty of Hanover, Pa., Ava Hargett of Frederick, Md., Brayden Bae of Columbia, Md., and Abigale Pitz of Abingdon, Md.; two great-great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Rylee Whipple of Hanover, Pa.; and one sister, Shirley Lakel of Frederick.

She was preceded in death by brothers, John William Molesworth III, Richard Carroll Molesworth, and sisters, Joyce Molesworth Chasin and Beverly Molesworth Smith.

Services: A memorial service will be held at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, at 11 a.m, on Saturday, March 13,2010.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be private.
