Minarose C. Fuhrmann of Mount Airy, MD, age 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 16, 2014. She was the wife of the late Leo A. Fuhrmann, Jr. for more than 50 wonderful years.
Born on October 10, 1934, in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes Lorditch of Johnstown, PA.
She was a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School of Washington, D.C. and worked at the Naval Gun Factory in Washington D.C. where she met her husband. Later she was an assistant manager for Household Finance.
Surviving are her daughter, Karen and husband Theo of Mt. Airy, two sons: Paul Sr. and wife Juliana of Ijamsville, and Mark and wife Lina of Davidsonville, a loving sister Elise and brother-in-law Chuck. She was blessed by 8 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Lorditch. May she rest in peace in arms of Our Lord.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Wednesday, August 27, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mt Airy, MD where a memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday August 28. A private interment will take place in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills at a later date.
