Milton Saylor

Mr. Milton Everett Saylor, 74, of Monrovia, MD, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at INOVA-Fairfax Hospital, Falls Church, VA. He was the husband of the late Carol Ann Saylor of 42 years. Born February 28, 1939 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Helen V. Stark and Charles Bert Saylor. He is survived by 4 children, Chad E. Saylor and wife Tammy of Mt. Airy, MD, Michael T. Rufty and wife Jackie of Jefferson, MD, Julie Durfee and husband Tom of Virginia, and Thomas J. Rufty and wife Rhonda of Baltimore, MD; 5 grandchildren, Callie A. Rufty, T.J. Rufty, Megan B. Rufty, Zachary T. Rufty, and Abygail D. Saylor; brother, Earl Saylor of Delaware. Milton worked as a Master Plumber until he retired. He loved spending time cutting his grass and being with his family. The family will receive friends from 1-4 PM on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 8 East Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy, MD 21771. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 22, 2013 at 11 AM. Rev. Lloyd Fuss will officiate. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Frederick, MD.
