Mr. Milton Lee Burdette, Sr., 57, of Adamstown, MD, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012 in Thurmont, MD.
Born September 16, 1954 in Bethesda, Maryland, he was the son of Dena Childers Burdette of Charles Town, WV and the late Melvin Burdette
Milton loved spending time with his family. He was a lifetime farmer and long time truck driver.
He is survived by two children Debra VanMeter and husband Robert, Sr. of Keymar and Milton Burdette, Jr and fiancé Regina Dertia of Adamstown, six grandchildren and one great granddaughter, three sisters Regina Barnette, Alice Crum and Sadie Russell and a brother Melvin Burdette. Many nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by a son Robert J.L. Burdette.
A Celebration of his life will be held at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont, MD at 10:00 am on Saturday July 14, 2012.
Interment will be private
