Mildred G. Wenzel

Mrs. Mildred G. Wenzel, 81, of Ijamsville, died on Tuesday September 24, 2008 at Glade Valley Nursing Home, Walkersville. She was the wife of Charles A. Wenzel.
Born on January 10, 1927 in Cannelton, PA. She was the daughter of the late Stephen and Christine Steinbinder.
Mrs. Wenzel moved to Washington D. C. and on August 8, 1959 she married her husband Charles. She was a Homemaker.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two son John S. Wenzel and wife Louisa and Thomas E. Wenzel and wife Helen all of Gaithersburg. One daughter Ann M. Wenzel and her fiance Brian Hull of Ijamsville. Seven grandchildren Stephen, David, Joseph and Laura Wenzel and Cristen, Kevin and Brendan Waters. Sisters Anne Haas of PA and Rose Baer of OH. Brothers John and Frank Steinbinder both of PA.
Visitation: Friends may call on Sunday September 28, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd. Mt. Airy, MD.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, September 29, 2008 at 11:00am at the St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church, 4103 Prices Distillery Road, Ijamsville, MD. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, MD.
