Mrs. Mildred Davis (Millie) Conroy, 59, of Green Cove Springs, FL (formerly of Walkersville, MD) died Saturday, June 23, 2007 in Florida. She was the wife of Gerald T. Conroy, Sr., her husband of 38 years.

Millie was born October 1, 1947 in Washington, D.C., the daughter of the late Henry S. and Hilda Magruder Davis.

Mrs. Conroy enjoyed music, playing the piano and especially the organ. For many years she was an organist and music director for several churches in Montgomery County. The greatest love of her life was her dedication to her husband and children.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children Gerald T. Conroy, Jr. of Frederick, Mindy Dunnigan and special friend Scott Cole of Rockville and Melissa Whitehouse and husband Vance of Walkersville, her grandchildren Leah and Ruth Whitehouse and her brother Thomas C. Davis and wife Karen L. of Viera, FL, three special nieces Traci Guglielmini, Tammy Jarnagin and Lindsey Jarnagin and many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Bette Jarnagin.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Sunday, July 1, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9:00 p.m.

Services: Services will be held in the Mt. Olivet Mausoleum Chapel, 515 S. Market Street, Frederick on Monday, July 2 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Don Taylor officiating. Entombment will follow.
