Mildred Martz

Mildred Edna (Easterday) Martz, 94, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at the Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Born on August 7, 1920 in Boonsboro, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Edna (Reeder) Easterday. Her husband Edgar "Bud" Martz preceded her in death on March 16, 1988.
Along with her husband, Mildred had a truck farm and raised raspberries and strawberries. During World War II, she had worked at Fairchild Aircraft and later at Eyerly's Department Store, both in Hagerstown.
She was an active member of the Boonsboro Bible Church where she participated in the Ladies Sunshine Sunday school class, sang on the choir, and was a member of the Woman's Fellowship Circle.
Mildred is survived by one granddaughter, Crystal Nicole Cousin and husband Shane, of Hagerstown.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Mildred was preceded in death by her son, Raymond E. Martz; two sisters, Lovetta S. McMillian and Winifred Easterday; and three brothers, Granville Easterday, Sylvester John Easterday, and Robert Easterday.
