Mildred Loetell

Mildred P. Loetell, 82, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. She was the beloved wife of Joseph Wilmer Loetell, Jr. for 61 years.
Born on May 4, 1938, in Baltimore , MD, she was the daughter of the late George and Mildred (Shivers) Petts.
She loved to travel with her husband and scrapbook all the places they visited. She was an avid crafter who liked ceramics, crocheting and knitting and cross-stitching. Watching the Baltimore Orioles was her favorite pastime and she looked forward to it every year. She loved hearing about her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Linda McDavid, Susan Akins, Christopher Loetell, brother-in-law David Loetell, nieces Kate Loetell and Rachel Geisz; brother George Petts, nephews George and Mark Petts, five Grandchildren, and six Great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her special friends the Voxakis’ and the Zucker’s.
Services and interment will be private.
Memorial donations may be made to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
