Mildred Leona Doran

Mildred Leona Doran, 91, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at her home in Boonsboro, Maryland.  She was the beloved wife of Michael Doran. 
  
Born on January 10, 1932, in Crystal Springs, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Clara Mae (Wilson) Anderson. 
  
Mildred was a graduate of Johnson Station High School.  She worked with her husband at his dental office as the Office Manager. Mildred was a member of the Elks Ladies Auxiliary, Red Hat Society, Swann Keys Ladies Auxiliary, DE, volunteer for the Boonsboro Ambulance carnival and elementary school.  In her spare time, Mildred enjoyed crabbing, gardening, was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, and enjoyed caring for her dogs. 
  
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Sharon L. Beason and Brenda Ann Hawbaker; and Jerry Burkett; grandchildren, Michael Hawbaker, Jason Murrah and Sherri Ann Burchette; Jeffrey and Jenny Burkett; and seven great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her brothers Harvey Anderson, Jr. and Jimmy Anderson. 
  
Services and interment will be private.
