Mrs. Mildred P. Diamond, of Middletown, MD, died at the age of 90 on Sunday, April 29 2012, at the Northampton Manor Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Louis Stanley Diamond.
Born July 27, 1921, in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Faye Moss.
Mildred traveled the world and hosted world famous scientists who came to the US to study and work with her late husband. She was a classical music enthusiast, an avid reader, and a lover of animals, especially cats. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her three children, Henry M. Diamond of Youngstown, Ohio, Janis R. Solovey and husband Robert of Middletown and Gary L. Diamond and wife Julie of Akron, New York, her sister Joyce Pitt, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
