Mildred Daley

Mrs. Mildred M. Daley, 89, of Frederick, Maryland passed Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Northampton Manor in Frederick. She was the loving wife of Herman I. Daley.
Born August 18, 1927 in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late William P. and Virginia L. Sewell.
She was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Class of 1945.
Mrs. Daley was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a choir member and as an usher. She was a member of Queen Esther Chapter #2 OES, past PWM, Frederick Valley Assembly Order #270 Golden Circle, PLLR, and the American Legion Auxiliary Post #11 in Frederick.
She enjoyed baking, family gatherings and attending church.
Surviving are a loving niece, Jeanie, she helped to raise; Vannessa Beauford-Ross (Sinatra) of Hephzibah, GA; one sister, Rachel C. Drafton (Joshua) of Augusta, GA; one brother, Webster Brown (Jackie) of York, PA; and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends to cherish her memory.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the First Missionary Baptist Church, 6430 Jefferson Pike, Frederick. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to services at the church.
