Mickey Christine Zangla, a beloved individual who touched the lives of many, has sadly passed away on November 4, 2023. Born in Takoma Park, Maryland on December 25, 1965, to the late Esther Lee (Waugh) Hutcherson and Samuel Cimarron Hutcherson, Mickey's life was filled with notable accomplishments and cherished memories.
Throughout her career journey, Mickey held various managerial positions that showcased her exceptional skills and dedication. She previously worked as a supervisor at RCI/Rubens Carpet Flooring, manager at Bowie Shell, manager at A1 Appliance Installations, and general manager at American Home Services. At the time of her passing, she was a senior manager with Borger Management Housing. Her outstanding work ethic and commitment to excellence were evident in every role she undertook.
While Mickey's career brought her fulfillment and success, her true joy came from spending time with her family. She adored her grandchildren and found them to be absolutely amazing. Mickey cherished the moments shared with her loved ones and took pride in creating lasting memories together.
In her leisure time, Mickey engaged in a variety of hobbies and interests that brought joy to her life. She enjoyed playing cards, exploring historical sites like Gettysburg and Lancaster, attending theater performances, hunting for antiques and primitive home decor, indulging in wine tasting experiences, immersing herself in fall festivities, visiting craft shows, and bowling in her younger years.
Mickey was known for her loving nature and kind-hearted demeanor. She possessed a zest for life that was contagious to all those around her. Her optimism and genuine care for others left an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Surrounded by her adoring family following a brief illness, Mickey peacefully passed away at her daughter's home in Mount Airy, Maryland. While this loss weighs heavily on the hearts of loved ones left behind, they find solace in knowing that Mickey is now at peace.
Mickey leaves behind a legacy that will forever be cherished by her surviving family and friends. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Crystal Marie Powell, Amanda Marie Zangla, and Ashley Ann Mclean. Mickey's grandchildren Oliver Quinn Powell, Anthony James Oliff, Carter Ashton Powell, and Karley Esther McLean brought immense joy into her life.
