Michelle Lin Walker, 44, of Thurmont, Maryland, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, MD
She was the wife of John M. Walker, her husband of 2 years.
Born on March 15, 1975, in Seattle, WA, she was the daughter of Linda L. Eaton Duncan of Reedsville, WV and the late Michael W. Duncan.
For the past four years she worked for Leidos, a bio-tech company.
Shelley was a very driven woman, she balanced her full time career with taking care of her family, grandchildren and college. She was taking courses with her ultimate goal of a dual masters in both Business & Marketing. Shelley had already earned her bachelor's degree and was more than halfway to achieving success.
Shelley enjoyed spending her time with her family and close friends, as well as traveling, with the beach being her favorite destination.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three children: Brittany L. Duncan of Cascade, Ryan M. Hubbard and Payten M. Hubbard both of Thurmont; two grandchildren: Kellam M. Robertson and Benson R. Daywalt; brothers: Robert Duncan of Pflugerville,TX, Neil Yellen of Telford, PA and Drew Yellen of Orlando, FL.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 East Main Street in Thurmont, MD.
Interment will be private.
