Michael Ray {Mike} Keeney
January 19, 1958 — January 12, 2010
Mr. Michael Ray Mike Keeney, 51 of Frederick passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2010. He was the husband of Connie Kenney, his wife of 21 years.
Born January 19, 1958 in Frederick he was the son of Grace Keeney of Frederick and the late Charles L. Keeney.
He restored antique furniture and he owned Michael R. Keeney Anique Restoration since 1993.
He enjoyed duck pin bowling, yard work and traveling to Cape Cod. He was always there for anyone and was always willing to help others in anyway he could. He also loved his kitty cat, Sweat Pea.
In addition to his loving wife, Connie, he is survived by his two step children, Dawn Hood and fiance Rodney McFarland of Frederick and Eric Hood of Baltimore, two brothers, C. David Keeney and wife Pat of Thurmont, Richard W. Keeney of Tuscaroa, three sisters, G. Charlene Keeney of Frederick, Carol Kenney of Frederick and Susan Guynn and husband Richard of Frederick.
He will also be remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce E. White.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Friday, January 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
Services:
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 16th at 10:00 AM with Rev. John Armstrong.
Interment will be in Lewistown Cemetery.
